Rubbers Classification 01. Natural Rubber (NR)Characteristics:Good elasticity, wear-resistant and tear-resistant; poor oil resistance and prone to aging.Applications:General normal-temperature sealing (O-rings, shock-absorbing parts). 02. Polyurethane Rubber (PU)Characteristics:Ultra-wear-resistant, oil-resistant, tear-resistant; narrow temperature range (-20°C to 80°C).Applications:Sealing rings, shock-absorbing parts, industrial wear-resistant components. 03. Fluororubber (FKM)Characteristics:High temperature resistance (200–250°C), strong corrosion resistance.Applications:Aero engines, automotive turbo systems, chemical equipment. 04. Silicone Rubber (VMQ)Characteristics: Extreme temperature resistance (-70°C to 260°C), electrical insulation, and biocompatibility.Applications:Food and medical equipment, high-temperature sensors, low-temperature environment sealing. 05. Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM)Characteristics:Weather resistance (UV/ozone resistance), water resistance, and polar solvent resistance.Applications:Outdoor sealing, waterproof pipes, electrical insulation parts. 06. Chloroprene Rubber (CR)Characteristics:Weather resistance, oil resistance, and good flame retardancy.Applications:Gaskets, hoses, outdoor seals (scenarios requiring weather resistance). 07. Butyl Rubber (IIR)Characteristics:Excellent airtightness, aging resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance.Applications:Inner tubes, pharmaceutical bottle stoppers, high-vacuum sealing. 08. Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR)Characteristics:Excellent oil resistance, wear resistance, and sealing performance.Applications:Oil seals, O-rings, hydraulic system seals (the most commonly used oil-resistant material).
